I am preparing to vend at The Fiber Event in Greencastle, Indiana in mid-April and the next shop update will follow that event. I'm sorry the shop is empty! Between the clubs and my farm responsibilities, I don't have as much time as I'd like for dyeing yarn. I hope you find it is worth the wait!

Yarn is available on three bases.
Corriedale is a thinner, sturdy yarn. It's more toothy and comparable to a hard-wearing yarn like Regia or Opal. Both Targhee bases are plump and can be knit to a tight gauge. Targhee is soft like Merino, but also has a longer staple length which can help the yarn last longer.

These skeins are made by a mill that does not add knots when processing the yarn, but does splice together individual plies. If you encounter one of these splices, you can just continue working with the yarn without doing anything special to it. The splices are strong and usually not noticeable in the finished work.

Yarn is dyed and heat set with professional acid dyes. All effort is made to exhaust the dyes, but some color bleeding may occur on initial washings. Cold water is recommended.

Multiple skeins are available under this listing and, due to the nature of hand dying, colors may vary slightly from the yarn pictured.
