The last Saturday in February is an international event for tongue twister contests. This yarn has three wide stripes of Yellow Lorry, Purple Paper People, and Blue Bug Blood which twist around each other at the transitions. Connect with your knitter friends and see who can say "lowly lone, worn yarn loom" the most times without messing up! This yarn was the January 2020 shipment for the Little Known Holidays Yarn Club.

This yarn is ready to ship, but if you'd like to add a 25g mini skein, we can dye one for you with the default color being Purple Paper People (as shown). Other colors are available upon request. Just a leave a note at check out with which color you'd like.

Would you like your yarn cranked into a sock tube so you just have to add heels, toes and cuffs? Check out information on our cranking service!

Yarn is available on four bases. Corriedale is a thinner, sturdy yarn. It's more toothy and comparable to a hard-wearing yarn like Regia or Opal. Both Targhee bases are plump and can be knit to a tight gauge. Targhee is soft like Merino. Our Merino base is thicker than many sock yarns.

Yarn is dyed and heat set with professional acid dyes. All effort is made to exhaust the dyes, but some color bleeding may occur on initial washings. Cold water is recommended.

Multiple skeins are available under this listing and, due to the nature of hand dying, colors may vary slightly from the yarn pictured.
