Smiling alpacas, graceful swans, and modern geometric chickens - and lots of pink!
Japanese rice bags are made with square bottoms. This bag measures 7 inches square at the base and 7.5 inches to the top of the fabric (8.5 inches to the top of the drawstrings). It is pictured with three 100g skeins of fingering weight yarn and a completed sock. There is plenty of room for single skein projects and small multi-skein projects.
The bags are made with scraps of quilters cotton and have a fully-lined pieced interior. There are no exposed seams. Fabric ties are used as a drawstring. The bags are not interfaced - they can stand up with yarn inside them, but are easy to squish into a purse or other bag.
Completed bags are washed and dried in a machine and then ironed. Because of this, and their scrappy composition, the bags have a cozy, broken-in look and feel.
Multiple bags are available under this listing. Fabric placement and accent fabrics may vary from those pictured.
