Each June the world celebrates Pollinator Month, taking time to learn about the insects, birds, and bats that pollinate crops and wild plants.
This cheerful yarn honors four pollinators with thick, even stripes of Blue Monkey Beetle, Blue-Headed Hummingbird, Honey Bee, and Monarch.
This yarn is ready to ship, but if you'd like to add a 25g mini skein, we can dye one for you! The default color is the Dark Blue. The other colors in this yarn are available upon request. Just a leave a note in your cart with which color you'd like. Would you like your yarn cranked into a sock tube so you just have to add heels, toes and cuffs? Add cranking here!
Yarn is available on three bases.
Corriedale is a thinner, sturdy yarn. It's more toothy and comparable to a hard-wearing yarn like Regia or Opal. Both Targhee bases are plump and can be knit to a tight gauge. Targhee is soft like Merino, but also has a longer staple length which can help the yarn last longer.

Yarn is dyed and heat set with professional acid dyes. All effort is made to exhaust the dyes, but some color bleeding may occur on initial washings. Cold water is recommended.
Multiple skeins are available under this listing and, due to the nature of hand dying, colors may vary slightly from the yarn pictured.
