Every October 6, since he was 5 years old, Bill's birthday cake has been a chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting, decorated with candy corn. I had to learn how to make this before his mom would let me marry him.

This yarn has thick stripes of dark chocolate cake and peanut butter frosting, and thin stripes of candy corn (white, bright orange, and yellow).

Would you like your yarn cranked into a sock tube so you just have to add heels, toes and cuffs? Check out information on our cranking service!

Yarn is available on three bases.
Corriedale is a thinner, sturdy yarn. It's more toothy and comparable to a hard-wearing yarn like Regia or Opal. Both Targhee bases are plump and can be knit to a tight gauge. Targhee is soft like Merino, but also has a longer staple length which can help the yarn last longer.

These skeins are made by a mill that does not add knots when processing the yarn, but does splice together individual plies. If you encounter one of these splices, you can just continue working with the yarn without doing anything special to it. The splices are strong and usually not noticeable in the finished work.

Yarn is dyed and heat set with professional acid dyes. All effort is made to exhaust the dyes, but some color bleeding may occur on initial washings. Cold water is recommended.

Multiple skeins are available under this listing and, due to the nature of hand dying, colors may vary slightly from the yarn pictured.
