It's white. It's lustrous. It's lovely. I'm not entirely sure what kind of animal it came from... It could be alpaca or llama, given it's similar label and packaging to the other fibers. It could be Martian. (I've included a picture of the label, if you'd like to guess?)
This fiber was given to me from a spinner who had a business of purchasing local fleeces and having them processed. I don't have a lot of information about it, but I know the spinner focused on high quality fiber.
This roving (which could be top? The fibers are mostly aligned in one direction), is shiny and white with creamier tan areas. It is reasonably soft,(It is not as soft as the alpaca or llama, but it is not coarse either), and has a staple length of about 2.5 inches. The fiber is also very clean: there is no visible VM (vegetable matter) or other debris.
