Join us for the story "Snowed in at Sugarplum Cabin"

December starts this weekend! And Bill has been working on a 24-part story to accompany this year’s Battvent…but you can still join us, even if you didn’t purchase the wool.

Snowed in at Sugarplum Cabin is a 24 part story with all the best tropes from sappy holiday movies. A short chapter will be published every day from December 1, 2024 through the 24th. Our story focuses on Sophie (a city girl doing important business), and Mark, owner of Sugarplum Cabin in the town of Spindle Falls. Mark repairs spinning wheels and shares his cabin with mischievous sheep (and he’s a firefighter, naturally).

If you did not purchase Battvent you can join us and receive daily installments of the story for a $5 subscription fee. At the end of December, we will donate all money raised to Wool-Aid, an organization that sends handmade woolen items to children who need warmth in cold climates.

Please join us for this cozy adventure focused on fiber arts and a gang of trouble-making sheep. I am probably biased, but I think the story Bill has written is adorable and charming, and perfect for both fiber artists and those with no knowledge (yet) of wool.

I really want to tell you more about the story and the crazy art that goes with it….but I am very excited for you to experience it as it comes out. Please let me know if you have any questions! I hope you’ll join us.
