Three Month Yarn Club - Exploring interconnected ecosystems
(June, July, August, 2025)
Everything in our world is connected, and the threads that bind us are often beautiful. This yarn club will explore the relationships between plants, animals, and terrain in some of the most fascinating ecosystems on earth.
For example, a colorway on the habitat of an oak tree could include stripes for the squirrels that hoard acorns, the caterpillars living under the bark - and the woodpeckers that eat them, the mushrooms that grow at the base of the tree, and the fireflies that overwinter in the fallen oak leaves.
While the example given evokes fairly "earthy" colors, I plan to explore both subtle and very vivid examples of ecosystems! Expect much more than just neutral greens and browns!
Please note! This is club is a special event of our monthly yarn club. If you are already a member of the yarn club, you do NOT need to sign up again for this.
This listing allows you to purchase the 3 months of club all at once. Your one-time payment will include 3 shipments of yarn (around the 10th of each month for June, July, and August) with the options you select. You may also choose to pay-as-you-go. Charges will occur on the 20th of the month for a shipment on the 10th of the following month.
If you are purchasing this as a gift, please enter the recipient in the "ship to" field at checkout. Also, send me an email at jsmoskal@gmail.com and I'll email you a printable pdf file with the club info for you to present to your loved one.
This yarn club will include one 115g skein of self-striping or semi-solid yarn in a brand new colorway. The stripes may be even, thick and thin, or totally random widths, and there will be a wide range of colors and tones. The yarns pictured are examples of previous from this club. Colorways will be exclusive to the club for one year.
Yarn is available on five bases. Corriedale is a thinner, sturdy yarn. It's more toothy and comparable to a hard-wearing yarn like Regia or Opal. Targhee is quite plump and soft, and our Merino base is bouncy and thicker than many sock yarns.
25g coordinating mini skeins, and sock tube cranking are available as well. You can add or stop these options at any time during your club membership. You can also change your base yarn any time.

Yarn is dyed and heat set with professional acid dyes. All effort is made to exhaust the dyes, but some color bleeding may occur on initial washings. Cold water is recommended. Multiple skeins are available under this listing and, due to the nature of hand dying, colors may vary slightly from the yarn pictured.
