The first Saturday of each December, Bill and I participate in a small holiday market on the square where our farmers' market takes place. There is a parade, tree lighting, and general merriment. Santa's backup reindeer come, and there's always a festive singer crooning the favorites. It is impossibly charming, and we've made it into a yarn!
